Next up in my occasional Jewish blog review is Chayyei Sarah:
Chayyei Sarah's blog is a cross between an eventful and humorous personal journal and an open, unique blog about life in Israel.
Sarah chronicles different aspects of her life: as a recent olah chadasha (new immigrant) to Jerusalem from NY, a single woman in her early 30's sharing her dating experiences, and as a writer shaping her career in freelance journalism.
Chayyei Sarah also provides a gentle, open-minded perspective on Israeli politics. This was particularly apparent in her entries on the disengagement. She has true sympathy for the Jews who had to leave Gush Katif, while at the same time believing the disengagement was the right move. Her ability to hear and respect other's views on Israeli politics is refreshing.
Thanks so much for the publicity, MO Woman! I feel honored and humbled (well, honored at least. Not so humbled!)
