a problem I have with luke fords' review is that kabbalistically, there is a strong theme of women having renewed stature in acharit hayamim. women are represented by the moon, and nekeyva t'sovev zachar is connected kabbalistically with vohoyo ohr hachama k'ohr hal'vana. this would imply that women's standing in orthodoxy was not meant topersist eternally, and it is understandable that with aschalta d'geula we see demand for improved status for women
